What a fantastic State park! great camping, facilities are kept well. The large swimming pool and slide are a fan favorite in the summer and there are always things to do in the park and surrounding areas. On the banks of the St. Lawrence river makes for some nice evening walks.
I love this state park! Such a beautiful area to enjoy the waters edge. Has a large outdoor swimming pool. No beach area that I know of. Boat ramp and camping is plentiful. I did see dogs on leash.
This state park offers wonderful trails and is home to numerous fisher cats. It has plenty of wildlife like loons ospreys and bald eagles. The trails run right along the river and offer a private dock for fishing and swimming a hidden bench for relaxing during a sunset and a peaceful gazebo that sits on a stone wall from 75 years ago. This park has great camping facilities and a huge swimming pool and playground the boat launch is big and easily accessible as well!
Excellent 👌 can't beat the price bathroom and showers excellent, were camping in 021 site on the river of St Lawrence able to see private boats and merchants ships passing by our camp site also have great hiking , bike trails, canoe launch and dock for canoe launch. …
We have been camping in the 1000 island Refion of New York for over 30 years and Keewaydin is one of our favorite place to camp when in the 1000 Islands. The camp is kept clean and is very family friendly. There is an Olympic size pool, beautiful views of the St. Lawrence, a marina to tie up the boat when in camp, and very good fishing from the bank.
Love this place! A friend of ours docked her boat here for the weekend. We were able to spend time on the glorious St.Lawrence! The park is situated perfectly with beautiful views and convenient docking area. The area for the boats is really well maintained and the restrooms by the docks are clean! The attendants of the area were so nice and helpful. We will return again this summer for another adventure!
Nice little state park. Has a boat launch and docks, many campsites with a pool, basketball court, playground, and bathroom/shower facilities. There are a few interesting historic structures, an attractive modern office building, plus couple of short easy to medium difficulty trails with a scenic overlook and picnic tables.
I love it! it has a lot amenities: pool, camping(tent), bathroom, showers, boat launch and a beautiful view by the St Lawrence River, also is not that far from Boldt Castle.
